Germana Anaya February 11, 2021 Research Paper
Students should pass out multiple copies of their research paper scaffold before class. Explain the procedures involved in compiling a research paper, and each segment of the scaffold builds on the last one. Briefly explain how each segment will be performed during subsequent classes. Train students to read their notes and use them as guidance throughout the assignment. Record their answers to questions from the instructor and have them ready for questions from the students.
After completing the research paper scaffold, students need to read their notes. If possible, compare notes with an original edition of the book, or another edition that has been published at a time not too long ago. Compare passages word-for-word from both books to get an idea of how the passages flow.
The next step in the research paper scaffold is for students to check their references. To get started, students need to go over the topics outlined in their outline. Then, check each reference for its accuracy. Only use secondary sources that are in agreement with the scope, organization, and summary of the text being used.
At the end of each session, rehearse your presentation. Students may choose to practice their answers using the research paper scaffold or to read their notes. Before the next session, remind students about their goals for the next session. Create a worksheet for each session to record objectives. Record the answers to previous questions, clarify the topics covered in previous sessions, and provide tips on conducting further research.
At the end of each session, students may choose to check their notes or deliver their final research papers. Students should review previously-given answers to any questions they may have. Form the final session summary using the same format as the body of the final paper. Highlight important points, answer any remaining research question(s), and sign their names.
Students should use their copies as well as provide their copies to their instructors. Instructors will provide a hard copy for distribution. Students should then distribute copies to their instructors and their supervisors/chairs at their own offices, homes, and schools. Students should ask their instructors to leave a photocopy of their final research paper scaffold at the front of each classroom.
Students can also get high-quality photocopiers with individual pages for each topic on which they will be writing their final research papers. By taking advantage of high-quality photocopiers, students can reproduce their homework in multiple sizes as well as in different colors. When a student takes their copy of a research paper scaffold home, they should keep a few things in mind. First, they should keep the research question on the top sheet of the paper. They should make sure the question is answered in bold lettering. Finally, they should place their reference sheets on the bottom of every page in their research paper scaffold.
Students may need to revise their sources and revise their research question(s) once they have distributed their final research paper scaffold. They should discard their reference sheets and replace them with a single piece of literature review that contains all of their information and references. They may also need to revise the research question and/or the answer. However, if a student has difficulty finding the answer to their research question, they should not worry about this. There are many sources on the internet for obtaining information regarding the best ways to revise your research materials. Students should look through each of these resources to find the answers to all of their questions and to save time during the writing process.
