In this article, I will be discussing how to make a good, solid, and financially viable draft research proposal. The idea behind this is that research proposals are generally quite good if you have done your homework and have done your due diligence. A little bit of due diligence is required if you want to make a good draft research proposal. The research that you do must be both internal and external, meaning it should come from your market research, the competition for jobs in your field, and preferably from a third party that can give you honest and accurate information.
The first step in doing your research is to gather and collate data. Make a list of potential industries that you want to investigate. The next thing is to do your research. You need to understand the current trends within those industries. There are several ways that you can do this, but one of the simplest is to use Google Trends to see what kinds of topics people are talking about currently.
Once you have a list of potential research topics or industries, it's time to research the topic. Most people start by doing just an outline. For instance, if you're writing a proposal for a business to start selling a particular item, you could make an outline based on three main points. Start with the most important benefit that the company will gain. Then talk about how the item would benefit them personally and their business.
Your outline will be very important, as it gives you a starting point from which you can build your proposal. Next, you should research the product or service that you are offering. It's important to know how well they are known in the marketplace. If they have a bad reputation, then you should know why. Ask people that you know and trust if they've used the company in the past.
You need to gather some information to present your proposal. This can include statistics about the company that you are proposing to, as well as any testimonials or reviews. Be careful not to exaggerate or downplay the results of your research. Remember, you are trying to convince a business to invest in your idea.
When you are writing about your business, be specific. Explain how the product or service is unique and how it can only be found in your business. This will make your presentation more enticing to a business.

Don't forget to proofread and edit your draft research. Any mistakes that you find will need to be addressed in your proposal.
Writing a proposal can be time-consuming and may even seem tedious. The more you take the time to prepare your business idea for a meeting, the more likely you will come through with your meeting and have people sign on the dotted line. Always remember to include your business plan in your draft research so that any potential investors or partners can see that you are prepared and that you are willing to put in the time to run your business successfully.
