Devonna Mona January 27, 2021 Research Paper
Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, a collection of information about the world's knowledge. The fact that it is a popular site that attracts millions of visitors every day shows that it is very useful to have such a reference tool. However, writing a Wikipedia research paper is not as easy as you may think. There are several tips you can use to ensure that your paper has a good structure. These tips will help you develop a proper outline of your facts in an organized manner.
The first thing you need to do is to come up with an outline. You can do this by using the templates provided by the encyclopedia or you can come up with your outline. It depends on what type of research paper you want to write.
Your outline should be a logical sequence of the major points. You need to highlight the important information in each chapter. When developing your outline, you should only list what is significant. Do not include information that is not necessary. For instance, if you are analyzing tissue for research, then do not include the details of what kind of cells are used and what they look like.
As you develop your outline, you should also consider using bullet points. It is easy to understand and people find it more efficient than writing out everything. This will make your outline much easier to read. Many different bullet point styles can be used.
Once you are done with your outline then you should create a draft. This will be a summary of your paper, which you present to a professor or a writing tutor. The most common mistake students make when writing their papers is that they re-write the introduction and the conclusion several times. This makes their paper boring and uninteresting.
After completing your outline and creating a draft of your best research paper then you should begin writing the actual paper. To start with, write an introduction. You need to grab the reader's attention as soon as you open your paper. Start by writing about yourself and what you have accomplished previously in your academic career.
Next, you should explain how your research is related to current events. This should relate to what you have studied. For instance, if you are a history major then you should talk about how you have researched certain historical events. If you are into technology, then talk about the applications that technology has made in your studies.
End your paper with a statement that summarizes what you have discussed in the paper. Be brief, be clear and be professional. Remember that professors and writing tutors will read your paper. If they are impressed with your writing then they will recommend you to their departments.
Now here comes the really hard part. You have done all of this work but you still do not know where to start. There are many directions that you can take in this research. One of the easiest ways is to look through the Wikipedia article on a particular topic. The articles usually link to a specific chapter or section that gives you examples of the information that is found in that area.
Another approach to finding out information is to check out any public forums on a specific topic. Look for posts that have been made regarding that topic. In these posts, you will see a lot of information that you can use in your outline. Some forums will not allow you to post information until you have completed your outline. Others will let you post as long as you provide some sort of citation of sources.
Your paper should have a summary of what was discussed. This should be written around the main points that were discussed. However, you should not quote people out of context as they may have other motives that you need to know about. After your summary, you should list any additional research that you have done. This should only be done after the quote from the person is complete. This will help ensure that you have included all of the relevant information in your paper.
You should end your Wikipedia research paper by quoting the person who wrote the Wikipedia article. This is not necessary, however, it will give the ending a little more gravitas and credibility. At the end of your outline, you can provide a summary of what has been written. This is where you can write down any extra ideas that you may have had and incorporate them into your paper. Once you have written out your paper, you may print it and/or revise it. The best thing to do before submitting it or editing it is to read it through twice to make sure that there are no misspelled words, that it flows well, and that it is clear and concise.
